These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MileStem, a practice management platform developed and operated by Gregory Holdings of Indiana LLC. By accessing or using MileStem, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
MileStem is a cloud-based practice management platform designed for Early Intervention (EI) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy providers. The platform provides tools for visit documentation, digital signatures, state-required form completion, parent communication, scheduling, and related clinical workflow management.
MileStem is not a medical device and does not provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a licensed or credentialed healthcare provider, authorized staff member, or parent/guardian invited by a subscribing organization
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@milestem.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice.
4. HIPAA Compliance
Organizations using MileStem to store or process Protected Health Information (PHI) must execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with MileStem prior to storing PHI on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your use of MileStem complies with all applicable laws including HIPAA. All client data and PHI remains the property of the subscribing organization.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MileStem to store unlawful content, gain unauthorized access to other accounts, interfere with platform performance, violate HIPAA or other privacy laws, or reverse engineer the platform.
6. Google Calendar Integration
By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize MileStem to access and create calendar events solely for scheduling purposes. Our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
MileStem and its content are owned by Gregory Holdings of Indiana LLC. You retain all rights to the data you enter into MileStem.
8. Disclaimers
MileStem is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is a documentation tool only — clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the licensed professionals using the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
Gregory Holdings of Indiana LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MileStem. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription at any time. You may request a data export within 30 days of termination. We will delete your data within 90 days of termination except where retention is required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Disputes shall be resolved in Indiana courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We will notify registered users of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
